Cogfight — Privacy Policy

Cogfight is a game built privacy-first. It collects no personal data and does not track you. There is no account or login, and no third-party advertising or tracking software in the app.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. Cogfight does not request access to your camera, photos, microphone, location, or contacts.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress — settings, unlocked parts, in-game currency, ladder progress, and cosmetics you own — is saved only on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. It never leaves your device and is not visible to us. Deleting the app removes it.

In-app purchases

Cogfight may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, parts, upgrades, and cosmetics that accelerate progress or add expression). All purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your payment information. Competitive rank and standing are always earned, never purchased.

Children's privacy

Because Cogfight collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. The game is rated 17+.

Website & waitlist

This policy covers the Cogfight app. Our marketing site (sharpsoft.dev) is a plain static site with no analytics or tracking. If you use the "Notify me" waitlist, submitting the form opens your own email app to send us your address directly — there is no server or database storing it. We use it only to let you know when Cogfight launches, and we never share or sell it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
